Program: The Department of Biology is part of the School of Science and Mathematics at Truman State University. The Department has 25 faculty members, approximately 600 undergraduate majors and a Master of Science program. The discipline also offers courses in Truman’s Liberal Studies Program (LSP); opportunities for faculty members to pursue interdisciplinary teaching and research occur both within the School and as part of the LSP. Teaching and research laboratories, classrooms, and offices are located in the new science building on campus.
